What is the best way to get pigeons off my roof?
Posted by admin on May 3rd, 2010 filed in bird control productsWe’ve tried clay owls (they just become friends), tried the sticky glue stuff, even tried spikes. Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of them??

There are small electric fence plates that you can get from a farming store not know ing where you are at.
Big cities use these on top of thier buildings now. You can always set them up as SOLAR-POWERED ENERGIZED to save on a bill.
Try the link below.
And here is my smart butt answer to this…sense I HAD a problem with these ever pesky animals, and when they started inviting ALL thier relatives to roost on my roof and barn …I had problems…I thought this would be Ideal……… Remote Bird Launcher with Remote Standard Leaver button. All steel will launch to a range of 500 yards….may take a couple days for birds to get the hint….
I hope you have luck.We used electric fence and tap pads, across the roof.

you can stretch a slinky (the toy) across the top part of your balcony railing or whereever they are "hanging out" this a safe and humane way to keep them from being to stand there!

have you heard the a saying? if you cant get rid of your Pigeons, on your roof, litter it with breaded rat poison? It helps. and yes it does work. then chase them off as soon as they are done eating. and they will never return.

Animals/Birds get used to plastic/fake deterrents.
If you didn’t like the ‘22′ answer, these should work for you:

Sit outside with a shotgun and take them out one by one. It works for as long as you want it to work and it’s a whole lot of fun. D**n flying rats. Good luck.

Throw bird food in your neighbors yard while they are sleeping
Better their house than yours -right?

If those methods have not worked, try finding any place where the birds are possibly nesting on your roof. Consider netting these areas off or placing spikes to prevent further nesting. You might also consider outdoor sound deterrents, such as the Bird Chase Super Sonic from Absolute Bird Control. This product emits distress calls and frightens the birds away. All of these products are available at http://www.absolutebirdcontrol.com
Another option is to simply call a pest control company and let them use their own methods to remove the birds.
