what do I do about this woodpecker problem that i'm having?
Posted by admin on May 30th, 2010 filed in Garden Bird ControlSo i live in a log cabin and there’s this really irritating woodpecker that is always pecking at our house. It’s not good because it made holes in the walls and the cold is getting in. Mother and Father are not pleased. How do i get him to stop, i tried reasoning with him but he is being stubborn. What do you think people???

nothing you can do if your house is wood, unless you kill it or get siding. lol.

There is likely a reason he is pecking the wood, probably because he is finding bugs in it to eat. Look here for other reasons it is pecking your home and ways to get this behavior to stop. Keep in mind..this problem can be handled humanely, woodpeckers are protected by law and should not be harmed in any way.
