We are having a problem with woodpeckers. Seems they like our vinyl siding and vents. Any help in getting rid?

We are looking for some help in getting rid of them. They also only seem to come around in the morning. If anyone can be of help, we will try anything, please let us know. We are in desperate need. go to walmart or home depot { garden section} buy a plastic fake owl or hawk and put it on your roof, problem solved. they wont come near them. works good for other critters also

If the problem is they are making a noise by hammering on your siding they are looking for a mate and they will quit shortly. Could also be they are eating bugs on your siding if that is the case spray the bugs with Sevin.
