The 9 vs The Fallen Lords Skills Demo 9/9 - Alric
Posted by admin on June 5th, 2010 filed in Garden Bird Control“The 9 vs The Fallen Lords” is a map created by Souly (Onyx), where you control the nine Avataras in a direct conflict with the Fallen Lords and their minions - a great lot of them. Basically, it’s a kind of a “Mazzarin’s Demise” only, in a way, more RPG, so to say. And last, but, as tradition tells us, not the least, is Alric, the Avatara of Artifacts. I call him that way because he doesn’t have any actual independent spell - they’re all linked to the items he carries. Alric may not seem the most awesome of the nine, but trust me, he is essential for beating this level. Not only does he carry three charges of his personal favorite “Dispersal Dream”, but he also possesses the mighty sword Balmung, which he can use in two different ways, the Ibis Crown, which can turn out to be a weapon of mass undead destruction and, most important of all, one of the Elbis Stones. Yes, remember how he defeated Balor? That’s the one, but now it also slowly decays the target’s life. That comes at a price, of course - you can’t use it indefinitely, so it’s better to save it for two fallen lords, in particular: Shiver, to finish her off at a distance and avoid being instantly killed, like the Deceiver is, in the level entitled “Shiver”… and Balor himself, because it will really, really help. And thus ends my presentation of the nine. Remember to collect the mana replenishing stones, dropped randomly by the enemy and also, remember to vet the melee units, including the Heron Guards. Alric is my favorite character from Myth: The Fallen Lords

Hah hah! He’s now much superior than his “standard” self from Myth 2! Not by chance that Alric is The Nine’s leader (and the eldest as well)! Long life for Alric!

Yeah, well, a lot of players prefer TFL to Myth 2 because of such small changes. I never played TFL properly, so I wouldn’t know.
Thanks for commenting!

The Ibis Crown doesn’t look that powerful. But heck, anything helps–I agree with Vile V–he is much better now! Could you upload movies of the fallen lords abilities?

Actually, Alric is not the eldest. I think Nelarn is.

It might not look all that powerful, but it’s one of the most useful spells in the plugin. About the fallen lords abilities, I’m kind of busy, right now, and when I have time, I have another small one-video project in mind, but after that, I could do a walkthrough of this level, thus showing everything you could want to see;)

Really? That would be great! Thanks! I would also really appreciate it if you put down the exact link. Thank you for all the videos that you have uploaded on this! I posted some other comments on your other movies if you care to read them.

I have a suggestion for you: you could make another eight videos, this time exploiting the seven Fallen Lords (plus The Summoner) with their spells, strengths and weaknesses just like The Nine! Awaiting your feedback!

Alric is cool, but you never really get to see the others of the nine in tfl.

you can play a game Improperly?

Allow me to explain and elaborate. I never played Myth: TFL. I have, however, played “The Fallen Levels” plug-in for Myth II, which is, to me, something very similar to the original. Still, even though it’s a close recreation of the game, it’s not the “proper” Myth TFL.
