pigeonsbegone.com - Call Us At 702-804-4663 This video will show you our proven method to prevent pigeons from ever nesting inside of the eaves again. We will also look at the application of bird spikes in an area screening would not be practical. This house previously had 3 other pigeon control companies unsuccessfully attempt to prevent pigeons from nesting inside of the eaves. The materials used were sub par quality bird spikes, plastic mesh, and chicken wire. Our first step is to disinfect the affected areas. This helps to make the sight safe for workers and homeowners. Pigeons and their droppings carry a multitude of diseases some of which live inside of their feces. We then remove the nesting materials typically made up of twigs, feathers, broken eggs, feces, and at times dead pigeons. Mites, fleas, carpet beetles, and numerous other insects can live inside of the pigeon nests. If the nest isnt removed these bugs can live and feed off the nutrient rich nest. In some cases carpet beetles and bird mites have abandoned the nest and invaded customers homes. Pressure washing is an essential step in the process because pigeon dropping are highly acidic and can damage the roofing underlayment if left untreated. The final step is to apply a galvanized steel wire screen. Screens are painted to match the color of the house, making them aesthetically pleasing. We guarantee pigeons will never nest inside of our screens for the lifetime of the building. Im Mike Gardner owner of

Why not seal the holes with the correct building material that was there when the house was built? Doesn’t that screen allow rats mice, spiders, squirrels, and energy loss? Sounds like a problem trade to me…

This is not a case of missing original building materials. The homes are built this way. An eave where the pigeons will nest is created when 2 roof lines of different elevations meet. The screen will allow creatures capable of fitting through a 2″x2″ hole. Additionally, rodents are not typically an issue in these areas & we do not have squirrels in Southern Nevada. The area that creates an eave is not open to the attic or interior of the home, thus no energy loss either.

Would be appropriate to stop spreading the statements you are making - they belong to fairy tales and only serve selling your products and distributing the prejudices about pigeons. Spikes can hurt pigeons despite what your kind of people are saying. Does your conscience ignore this fact?

  6. Sumstari Says:

Pigeons are filthy birds, dropping feces around and in front of our house (if you’re standing there, watch out), on its roof, and warbling annoyingly near your window when you’re trying to sleep. They are nuisance birds which carry germs; possibly disease. And “pigeonwriter” says the spikes hurt the birds! No, they don’t hurt the birds because the birds won’t light there.
