How can I get rid of all the pigeons around my house without having to buy spikes, harmful chemicals, etc.?

We want to get rid of them, but we want to do it in a humane way. Also we don’t want to spend the money on repellents, spikes, etc. We are basically looking for a homemade remedy.

you can try all these ideas to get rid of them but a real good one is to put a dead pigeon on the roof as well as the plastic owl the dead pigeon will make them STAY AWAY for sure!!!!!it makes the owl even more real and scary to the pigeons

I worked at a place that had large signs over there parking lot and the sign co. had to put a fake owl on it to keep other birds from pooping from the sign on cars

I had this problem. Only one solution worked for me and we have no more pigeons. We put a plastic owl (from a garden center) on the ledge and one in the front yard too. They have to be moved every few weeks or the pigeons catch on that it is a fake.

I read that the reflective side of CD’s keeps them away. Worth a try, duckt tape it to the roof and other places and see if it works. Good luck!

Pigeons hate grape scent. Actually, I believe majority of birds dislike “grape” smell. I have seen grape scented water misted on top of homes that had roosting pigeons and instantly the pigeons found new homes
